SAQA Booth at PIQF

October 17-20, 2019

Our SAQA booth at the Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF) was a great success!

Northern California/Nevada Regional Rep, Sonja Campbell, was there every day and reported “PIQF is always special to me because I have the opportunity to talk with the members staffing the booth.  We also get to see members who drop by to say hello. The best part is prospective members that look at our trunk show and know they have found their people.  We had 25 people that either joined or renewed their memberships.”

Local members, Giny Dixon, Dolores Miller, Jenny Lyon, Cynthia Minoli, Joan Barker, Ann Grundler, Jean Jurgenson, Aileyn Ecob, Karen Swift, Priscilla Read, Judith Content, Barbara Confer, Cara Gulati, Mel Beach, Roxann Burns, Sue Bianchi, Jennifer Landau, Barbara Kibbe, Randa Mulford, Katherine Reader, and Susan Heller, pitched in to set-up and staff the booth where the trunk show of over 50 art quilts on display.

3-D pieces by Dolores Miller, Sonja Campbell, Jen Landau, Jean Jurgenson and Susan Heller were especially popular.
